Prosperity Game - Day 6

Good Day!

It is a very good day today because the stream of money continues to flow and it is getting wider!  Today you have $13,000 to spend on anything that your heart desires.  It just gets better each day!

Thank you, Flow.  Well she got right to the point today!
Yesterday, I spent my moolah on lots of stuff: I replaced our chipped up tile counter tops with granite, the sliding door with a beautiful french door, window treatments for the NC house,  and then took Ivy out for a shopping day to get some very much needed new clothes and lunch, hairstyling for both of us, some new linens, some stuff for HOP and I made a donation to Habitat for Humanity because I love my home and I want everyone to have one!  $8000 dollars goes a long way. I just kept adding things and I still had more left but I did spend every last cent of it and I will do the same today.

I would love to join Lyn in her sauna!  I can't wait to hear more about the Green School in Bali when zorawalli gets back and I hope the Dolamore boys will make a recording with all their new musical gear!  Oh and, can I ride that motorcycle too?  I remember that one and it was lots of fun!

Happy Imaginings!

  1. Today I'm replacing all the carpet in our house with wood floors. Then I'll buy rugs for each room. I don't like carpet but I do like rugs. With the money left over I'd buy a new stereo system for my car, one with a CD player and MP3 jack so I could listen to books and podcasts while commuting to/from work.

  2. Today I bought a new old world mahogany dining set and chairs & cabinet, and I have hired intelligent, fair and efficient people to screen the part of my patio that has a roof, and extend the roof in front of the bathroom and build an extended screened porch off that way. It has ceiling fans and comfortable furniture. The couch makes into a comfortable bed to sleep in the open air.

  3. Today I am buying a beautiful 2 acre lot near Traverse City, MI where I used to live. The list price is $14,900, but like all good property sales, I got a deal since I am bringing cash to the table and can close today. I can't wait to pack up my tent and head there in the summer!

"Rolling hardwoods in a ... very quite and picturesque part of Leelanau County. Road is in but not finished - will be graveled and graded. Price listed is for package of six individual parcels for a total of 18 acres. MLS# 1721104."

  4. I bought a Kubota B7500HSD 4WD tractor with finish mower, front end loadeder, and box blade for $13,000. It is "pre-owned" but with low run time so no need to pay twice that for a new one. This will be kept at our NC house.
