Prosperity Game - Day 9

Good Day!

Another beautifully abundant day has arrived!  You can make this day anything that you want to make it!
You have $55,000 dollars to play with today.  Please read the extra challenge below.  It will make playing today extra fun.  I hope you envision wonderful things for yourself and your world.

During the years of your life and especially during your young formative years, you probably heard a lot of statements about money and abundance repeatedly.  These statements may still be affecting you and one reason why it is sometimes difficult to change them is because of logic.  Some of these statements seem to make sense!  One that I run into frequently when reminding people of the unlimited Source will relate to their own day to day situation. Some examples:  "I can't have that because my salary is fixed and I don't make enough money to afford that." Period, end of discussion.  "I can't get out of this unhappy relationship because I am dependent on my partner and I have two kids to think about"  or "I can't go there because I am retired and I have to think about how I am going to pay my way through as I get even older and can't care for myself."  and on and on.  In all of these statements, there is one thing in common; the person saying them has logically determined that their source is defined.  They have made their current job, their partner, their investment portfolio or something else their source.  There is only one Source and that Source is unlimited. These things are just vehicles for delivery and there are many other ways to get that abundance into your hands.

Today, as an extra exercise, I suggest that you think wildly about all the possible ways that abundance can flow.  It would be even more effective if you made a list of all the ways that you know of that money can "fall from the sky", "grow on trees" or "arrive at your doorstep".   It would be super if you could get crazy with it and share with everyone because this is going to expand all of you even more!!!  Once you open to these new ways, it will be much easier for me to do my job getting the money to you!

Have a prosperous and fun day!

Hey all, yesterday was great!  I hired a green energy consultant to meet me at my home in North Carolina next week to begin developing a plan to get off grid.  The money for the day will be spent on installing a combination wind, solar and geothermal system for energy on the house.  Isn't that cool!  Today I will be having a two story garage/guest house built so you can come visit me when I move there permanently this spring!

  1. Unexpected money: Mystery checks in the mail! (Like the time the government send me $300 because they said I overpayed my taxes. my taxes were SO simple at the time, I can't imagine how I overpayed them. It remains a mystery...) Money on the street! Gifts or inheritances, especially from people you didn't expect. Someone asking you to do a very simple and/or enjoyable job for them for pay. Stock market increases (if you own stock anyway...). Of course I don't really have trouble imagining this part because there are tons of unexpected ways a writer can get money: A book could sell big, contest wins, royalty checks, offers to speak... In fact I guess most of my money is kind of a wonderful surprise!

I'm spending 55k on the same thing you did yesterday: outfitting my Maryland house with sustainable technology.

  2. Going for a walk and finding money under the tree, I look up and money grows on the tree. Money is in the air I breathe. Like "fabulousfrock", I also feel like having endless ideas imagining how money comes to me. No matter what I wish for, it's right here, accessible and ready to get in action!!

Sue, I'd love to come for a visit! Also loving the plan for your house in NC.
Using the 55k to remodel our house in Riceville with sustainable technologys and a better flow/floor plan. Love creating beautiful/practical living spaces for me and others!

  3. Today I was somewhat challenged to spend $55,000 and broke it down into several purchases. I bought a new garage/barn for the NC home, a 2 week trip through upstate Michigan, Ohio and Niagra Falls (pre-paid, to occur in June), various saw blades and drill bits, JBL LSR4328P studio monitors, Akai Professional MPK61 midi controller keyboard, Sony Acid Pro 7 recording software, Universal Audio UAD-2 Quad Flexi plug-in bundle software, modified drainage and completed rock exterior surface at NC house, Allen & Heath ZED-14 studio mixer, and a Roland V-Drums V-Stage TD-12KX-S electronic drum kit. Wow!! That is a lot of "stuff".

  4. I just noticed Sue's purchase of a garage/guest house for our NC house. No problem, we'll have that and the barn that I bought.

  5. Today I am into sustainability and FUN! I am booking a trip to Findhorn in Scotland where I will take the Ecovillage Experience Week and Sustainable Community training. I will learn more about their ecovillage and also hope to learn to build a Living Machine, which they use to recycle their water supply. It's really cool.

Then I'm going to take a timber framing workshop, and buying plans and supplies for a small timberframe home to put on my land near Traverse City. I think a 2 bedroom cottage/cabin with porches all around, and a big fireplace/woodstove is in order. I'll add solar panels, the living machine, and other sustainable and energy efficient things. I'd like to spend a week at the Neahtawanta Center with my friends Sally and Bob to learn what they know, and also meet with my other friend Sally's daughter, who has been off the grid for some time. I like the idea of off the grid!

Finally, I will quit my job at the end of this month, as I will be busy this spring travelling and learning new things to help me in my vision for my future! I know that what I will learn will inspire me to be a better teacher in the future, much more than slogging along for the next 4 months in my current situation.

    I FEEL FREE!!!!

On the side assignment - for me I have found that the money flowing depends almost entirely on my attitude and expectations. When I am in the flow of abundance, and trust the Universe, it happens. When I start shutting down my energy and feeling lack, lack is what I get. I love how someone once told me that the Universe only has one answer, YES!!! So if you say to yourself 'I need money', the Universe says 'YES!!! You need money!' and if I put myself in the position to say/embody 'I am thankful that I live my life full of abundance with more than I need!' then the Universe says 'YES!! You live your life full of abundance and plenty!'

This game is really helping me get back to those beliefs and embody them in a real way. It makes me very excited for each day, dreaming what will become my reality one day soon!

    So....tomorrow should be interesting...

  6. I suspect we're getting close to an amount that would allow me to buy a new house, but just in case I'll pull the trigger on the house addition Stacy and I looked at a few years ago. That would add a great room at the back of the house. I've also always wanted a screened porch to enjoy the warm nights without the mosquitoes, and there's enough money to add that too.

It's hard for me to imagine wild sources of abundance, which probably means I need to think about that some more. Maybe one of the products my company is marketing takes off and all the employees share in the wealth. Or I come upon a great business idea, especially one I could run from home.
